Usually, when I know I need to buckle down and focus, I am more seriously drawn to bumming around the house in my PJs. However, I'm going to take a different approach today. I'm going to hit the treadmill first thing this morning (since I will be sitting on my rear the rest of the day), grab a shower, and then put on real clothes. Real clothes? Crazy right? My first instinct is to say forget it. No one will even see me today. But the hope is that if I make myself feel like I'm in an office setting, I will be more productive, and know when to turn work off tonight/switch back to family mode.
"Flaming Tulip" Top: Old Navy | Cardigan: Taget | Indigo Jeans: Old Navy | Pointed Toe Flats: Old Navy (Similar) | Necklace: Target (Similar) | Silver Bangles: Target
After yesterday's fall-inspired outfit lacked any sense of spring color, I thought I would grab something a bit brighter for today. "Flaming Tulip" is the color of today's twist-front top. Sounds pretty springy and inspiring to me! I've also decided to pair it with my favorite pair of shoes; these teal pointed toe flats. The combination of the flowy top, layered with a comfy cardigan and jeans with plenty of stretch, means that even though I'll be plugging away at the computer all day, I will still be super comfortable!
Since the forecasts for today's rain have been dismissed, and honestly, I probably won't leave the house today anyways, I guess I won't really need those Raspberry Hunter boots after all. Bummer. Man could you put together a cute springy outfit with those!
Leave a comment and tell me what your favorite color is this spring!
